The What I Love: EVERYTHING! What a breath of fresh air, from the moment you set foot onto the resort. The Scott is my newest obsession, for the obvious reasons. (As you will learn, atmosphere and design/decor are the most important things I look for in a fun new spot for: coffee, food, hotel or happy hour spot – and this one hit it out of the park). It’s instagrammable everywhere you look, every thoughtful detail. The lobby is one giant lounge, that flows effortlessly into The Canal Club, which is the hotels restaurant + bar. This is the perfect spot for a casual happy hour with friends in the lounge or enter the restaurant for a delicious Cuban style sit-down dinner. I would highly recommend the Roasted Vegetable Oaxacan Pizza for a starter, the Cubano Sandwich (and an extra order of their house made sweet + spicy pickles- YUM!), annnd everything else on the Menu. The Scott, also has a really fun events calendar that guests and locals can take part in. Each night offers something new, from Game Night, Cigar Rolling, Vintage Movies Screened Outside, Tiki Parties, or local DJ’s playing the freshest music.
